Impact of dried Tribulus terrestris extract on growth performance in quail chicks

Abstract
The aim of this study to know the impact of dried Tribulus terrestris extracts on growth performance in quail chicks. A total of 350 one-day-old quail chicks, averaging weight 7.50 g, and the chicks were randomly assigned to four groups, each group comprising four replicates and each replicate include 20 birds, G1 as control treatment (without supplementation), G2, G3 and G4 added 0.25, 0.500, and 0.750 g/Kg of dried Tribulus terrestris extract to diet. The results of this study showed a significant decreased(P < 0.05) in the age of sexual maturity for females and males in groups G2, G3, and G4 compared to the control group G1. Growth performance showed a significant increased(p<0.05) in the birds that drinking water had a Tribulus terrestris extract compared to the control group (G1). The results of this study concluded that adding Tribulus terrestris extract to drinking water can able to safe effect and improving healthy for quail chicks.
