Although; the liver has been studied in several types of birds, but regarding, Muscovy Duck, it is yet not to be done. Thus the current study has been accomplished to identify the anatomical features and recognize the histomorphological architecture and the differences in the structural components of the liver in this bird. The study was achieved on eight birds of both sexes, aged (ten to fifteen) months, slaughtered by the halal method and divided into two groups: anatomical and histological. Anatomical results showed that the liver of Muscovy duck is situated at the cranial part of the celomic cavity; the shape is adapted to the adjacent internal body wall and related organs like the proventriculus, gall bladder and gizzard. Histologically our results revealed that no histological difference between the right and left lobes of liver and it's a large lobed gland enclosed by serosal coat or covering which have a delicate capsule from connective tissue that extends to divided the gland into lobes with less extension to lobules. The liver parenchyma made of hepatic cells called hepatocytes that organized in branching cords that separated via sinusoids and be radiated around the central vein.

Morphological and palynological systematic studies for the 10 species of genus Bellivalia Lapeyr. (Asparagaceae) in Kurdistan-Iraq conducted during the growing seasons( 2015-2016) to determine the species distribution and recording new localities. The morphological investigation was dealt with the characteristics of the bulbs, stems, leaves, flowers, inflorescences, fruits and seeds and it was indicated through discussing the characters diversity that the flowers characters are taxonomically more important than vegetative characters to isolate the species. The palynological study is first conducted on Iraqi botanical specimens and indicated that pollen grains of all studied taxa of the genus Bellevalia , monads and monosolcate with variations in other characters of pollen grains which give a taxonomic importance. The species (B. macrobotrys, B. longipes, B. glauca, B. saviczii, B. olivierii, B. mosheovii, B. kurdistanica and B. pycnantha) were previously recorded and two species are new for Iraq (Bellevalia fominii and B.longistyla).

Biological aspects (size composition, length-weight relationship, condition factor, food habit and reproduction season), and morphological of Mastacembelus mastacembelus inhabiting Al-Tharthar canal studied during the period from April to September 2012. The growth pattern was negative allometric with (b) values for males 2.680, females 2.845 and for combined sexes 2.597. Condition factor values were lower than one, ranged from 0.183 to 0.432 with average 0.282 ±0.053 for combined sexes. Food items from stomach collected and analyzed using both points and frequency methods. Two food items found only in the diet. M. mastacembelus is a predator, the males preferring fish while the females preferring fish and crustacean (prawns). The research cover, the ratios each of sixteen morphometric measurements to standard length, and each of four morphometric measurements to head length and their linear regression equations. All the length-length relationships between standard length and the others measurements were highly correlated except head depth, body depth and body width, and for head length, head depth only.

The current research aimed to study the morphological aspects of eggs of nematodes that parasitic on Awasi sheep and make a comparison with the existing data in specialized references. The eggs were isolated and collected from the nematodes female from the gastrointestinal mass of the sheep. The morphological appearance and measurements of eggs were made with microscope. The results showed the eggs from the following species: Haemonchus contortus, Marshallagia marshalli, Oesophagostomum columbianum and Trichostrongylus colubriformis were similar to the characters that depending on identification keys specialized literates.
