Animal & Ethical Approve
Tikrit Journal for Agricultural Sciences (TJAS)

TJAS does not accept manuscripts that fail to declare a clear statement on the protection of animal rights. Authors must confirm that their research has been reviewed and approved by an Institutional Review Board (IRB) or an Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC). The statement should appear in the Materials and Methods or the Acknowledgments section, and include the registry number where applicable.

ARRIVE Guidelines

If the study involves in vivo experiments, authors must follow the ARRIVE guidelines and revise the manuscript accordingly.

Animal Welfare

When experimental animals are used, the Materials and Methods section must clearly describe measures taken to minimize pain and discomfort.

Ethical Compliance Requirements

Mandatory for all relevant submissions
  • Experiments must be conducted in accordance with the International Animal Ethics Committee guidelines or an equivalent institutional body.
  • Compliance with applicable national and local laws and regulations is required.
  • All studies involving human or animal subjects must explicitly identify the approving ethics/review committee.

Editorial Policy

The Editors reserve the right to reject manuscripts if there is any doubt about the ethical procedures followed or if the required approval statement is missing or unclear.
