Conflict of Interest Policy

Tikrit Journal for Agricultural Sciences (TJAS)

All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could influence the objectivity or integrity of submitted manuscripts.

A conflict of interest may include (but is not limited to):

  • Financial or funding relationships

  • Personal or professional relationships with individuals involved in the work

  • Academic competition or rivalry

  • Intellectual or commercial interests related to the content

Authors are required to declare any conflicts of interest during submission. Reviewers must notify the Editor-in-Chief if they have a conflict that prevents them from providing an unbiased review. Editors will recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where conflicts exist.

Failure to disclose conflicts of interest may result in rejection or retraction of the manuscript.

Retraction and Correction Policy

Tikrit Journal for Agricultural Sciences (TJAS)

TJAS is committed to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the scholarly record. Articles may be retracted or corrected when necessary, following COPE guidelines.

Grounds for retraction include:

  • Evidence of plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification

  • Duplicate publication

  • Major errors that invalidate conclusions

  • Ethical misconduct

Grounds for correction include:

  • Minor errors that do not affect the overall results or conclusions

  • Author name or affiliation corrections

  • Citation or formatting errors

Retractions will be clearly marked on the website with the word “Retracted” in the title, and the reason for retraction will be stated. The original article will remain accessible but will be clearly labeled as retracted.

Corrections will be published as an Erratum or Corrigendum linked to the original article.
