Tikrit Journal for Agricultural Sciences (TJAS)

This policy outlines how authors publishing in the Tikrit Journal for Agricultural Sciences (TJAS) may archive copies of their work on personal websites, institutional web pages, and subject-specific repositories.

TJAS is an open-access journal, and all published articles are made available immediately under the terms of the Creative Commons license (CC BY 4.0). Authors are encouraged to share the final published version (Version of Record) upon publication, rather than the accepted manuscript, to ensure the widest possible visibility and access.

Authors may also freely reuse and distribute abstracts and citation information (including article title, author names, and publication dates) anywhere at any time, such as on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, blogs), provided that a link back to the article on the TJAS website is included. It is strongly recommended to include the article’s Digital Object Identifier (DOI) when sharing or citing it online.

The author’s accepted manuscript (post-peer-review version) may also be deposited on the author’s personal website and/or in the institutional or organizational repository or archive of their affiliated institution.

There is no embargo period for self-archiving the submitted or accepted versions of articles.

TJAS is officially archived in the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ) database to ensure long-term digital preservation and accessibility.
